The region is to the west of Langtang Himal and east of Manasulu range. It stretches between the two rivers Trisuli and Budhigandaki. The main peak

Ganesh himal 7429m. the region has altogether 7peaks and all has its distinctive character. These mountains became famous since they can be seen from Kathmandu.it is one of the precious areas where the simple life of Himalayas can be still observed. The charm of this area is that it offers quite but variegated trekking, visiting some peaceful villages of Tamangs, hot spas, gorges and glaciers..
The course starts from Trisuli bazaar, in the semitropical sun, goes up to a fairly high elevation, where a close view of Ganesh 7163m.can be enjoyed, and descends to Syaprubesi after crossing over two passes. The highest elevation is more than 4000m.

Flora and Fauna
The forests of Ganesh Himal and Langtang area prime example of temperate and sub alpine vegetation. The dense oak and pine forests on the trail of particular interest. As usual , the rhododendrons from a spectacular display during the spring.

People and culture
The people here, are of Tibetan origin and call themselves sherpa although they are quite distinct from the sherpas of Everest region both in language and customs. Many Tamang people also inhabit this area, Tamangs are also orginated in Tibet but settled in Nepal considerably earlier than Sherpas.

Day to Day Itinerary
Day 01 Arrival in Kathmandu. and Transper to Hotel
Day 02 Free day in Kathmandu.
Day 03 Kathmandu. to Trisuli Bazaar(540m)
It takes about 4hours drive from Kathmandu. to Trisuli bazaar . in afternoon visit a Nuwakot palace which was built by Prithivi Narayan Shah who reunified Nepal by 1786
Day 04 Trisuli Bazaar to Deorali (1600m)
It is a small village occupied by mixed up peoples. They are very kind to each other. In addition, along the route one can view Trisuli valley, interesting place.
Day 05 Deorali to Kimdang Phedi (2400m)
Mountains views are wonderful along with the other attractive scenes.
Day 06 Kimdang phedi to Kuri:(2650m)
From this point, slight height will start on trek. It would be good acclimatization to those who are interested to keep fit their physical and mental fitness for trekking into the mountain.
Day 07 Kuri to Borang(2700m)
It is a nice place where people have settled their village. This place is the major having special difference in compare to other villages around. Tamang people are the main tribes in this area.
Day 08 Borang to Chalise(2750m)
This area is occupied by Gurung people and Ganesh himal peaks are mind blowing. Houses are unique in the point of constructions. Pools are wooden whereas stone and clay construct floors.
Day 09 Chalise to Bheda Kharka(3350M)
Sarthung and Tibeatn villages teemed with Tamangs, the views of the villagers are magnificent. Have to cross the Jingle full of rhododendrons . Clear views of major peaks like. Ganesh Himal I, II, III, IV Manaslu, Bouddha Himal, Gorkha Himal, including other minor mountain peaks.
Day 10 Bheda Kharka in PongsangPass(3850m)
Long ranges of mountains could be seen such as Gosainkund to Manaslu Himal around the mountain peaks against the all mountain peaks in Nepal> One can catch sight of birds because there is a thick forests with different kind of trees.
Day 11 Rest Day. Excursion trip to single pass or towards to Jaisilikund
Day 12 Pongsang Pass to Somdang Phedi:(3350m)
A pass known as Yuri Khaka should cross. Langtang view is spectactular and some hours for crossing jungles. Rhododendron flowers if in spring and will life may see if some one lucky.
Day 13 Somdang Phedi to Gotlang?1600m)
It is a low place and some villages are beautiful. It is a little hot place compare to other camping place.
Day 14 Gotland to Syabru bensi: (1000m)
It is an a beautiful walk through Tamang villages.
Day 15 Drive back to Kathmandu. by bus.
Day 16 Free day in Kathmandu.
Day 17 End of Programme
